Engr. Bunmi Obembe

Engr. Obembe has served with Total E&P for 35 years as Engineer, GM Supply Chain, EGM Technical Services & Nigerian Content, and finally as Director, Oil & Gas Commercial, Engineer.

His experience has spanned across Nigeria, France and Holland.

Most notably, Engr. Obembe pioneered the establishment and entrenchment of Local Content, not only in Total, but in Nigeria’s petroleum sector. He led very actively in all the conversations that ultimately culminated in the promulgation of the Nigerian Content Act in 2010. and continues to be an expert voice in achieving effective local content development and capacity building in Africa’s energy sectors.
